Fresher in the time of COVID19
In the last two months, Fresher has provided over 50,000 meals for folks in need of good food during this time of crisis. We served nearly 500 seniors at 5 housing complexes for four weeks, delivered through a generous contribution by DoorDash. Now, we're serving three meals a day to more than 500 homeless folks. In addition, with a grant from Bank of America, we're providing meals out of our kitchen directly to the Meadowview community in South Sacramento, a neighborhood that, even before this, had 9 out of 10 youngsters coming from households eligible for free and reduced school meals.

"Making sure everybody goes to bed well fed"
- Rabbi David Azen
Founder and Executive Director
At Fresher, we create meals that are healthier and accessible for everyone, including underserved communities with limited access to good food options. Our youth apprentices gain job skills by making the meals with local chefs. We enable residents in every neighborhood to create and sustain a nutritious cycle of health, wealth, and skills for life. We aim to make sure everybody goes to bed well-fed.

Community-based Organization
At Fresher, we recognize that a robust, dedicated, and talented team is central to our success. We treasure our mission of diligently working towards food security in Sacramento. We offer the meals at affordable prices and convenient locations.
